No holes to dig, no cement, and no special tools.

Find a 30” diameter area of relatively flat space and place your mailbox. Create a flat surface if needed.

Open the mailbox door and remove the plastic bottom. Use a cup to fill the hollow pedestal with approximately 80 pounds of ballast. We recommend using sand or gravel. DO NOT use water.

Fill the ballast to the white line in the picture above and adjust the placement of your mailbox if needed.
